The construction industry is evolving - and so are we. At Security Fence Company, we don’t just build fences and gates - we build relationships, reputations, and results. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who thrives on ownership, loves working with people, and wants to grow with a team that's rewriting the rules in a time-tested industry.
This is a strategic Project Manager hire to join the team, improve and strengthen internal processes, and help the company grow. We’re looking for someone with strong entrepreneurial and leadership qualities who knows how to manage crews, schedules, budgets, and customer expectations - and does it all with positive energy, a great attitude, and relentless attention to detail. If you’ve got 3-5 years of experience in construction (ideally fencing/gates), enjoy solving problems in the field, and are ready to help shape the next chapter of a 30+ year-old company - let’s talk.
Responsibilities - What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead every facet of the project - Oversee all phases of construction from start to finish, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, billing, design coordination, cost tracking, safety, proposal development, and client communication
 - Deliver accurate, impactful estimates - Coordinate the creation of detailed, reliable project estimates with the help of our estimating team, which lays the foundation for successful execution and profitable outcomes
 - Collaborate on vision and innovation - Work closely with clients and our internal estimating team to shape preliminary concepts into high-impact solutions
 - Influence the big picture - Participate in proposal meetings, helping to refine scope, reduce costs, and offer value-driven engineering insights
 - Select the best to build the best - Lead subcontractor selection and buyout, ensuring top-tier talent and cost-effective partnerships
 - Drive communication on-site - Facilitate bi-weekly site meetings to align teams, resolve challenges, and keep progress on track
 - Make confident decisions under pressure - Step up with calm, focused leadership when quick and effective decisions are needed most
 - Juggle with precision - Coordinate multiple moving parts to keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, and budget
 - Champion quality and continuous improvement - Monitor processes to maintain the highest standards and always look for ways to do it better
 - Turn feedback into results - Actively listen to client input and transform it into outcomes that exceed expectations
 - Lead with integrity, deliver with purpose - Uphold our values in everything you do, ensuring client satisfaction remains the core of every project
 - Strategic thinking - Provides advice to project teams on approaches that can be adopted to successfully achieve both clients’ objectives and business objectives
 - Knowledge management – Ensure that key information and learnings generated from each project is captured
 - Process improvement - Identify ways to improve internal systems and processes
 - Grow with the company - Help refine internal processes and implement better tools, systems, and workflows as we scale
 - Elevate the brand - Represent Security Fence with professionalism, urgency, and pride in everything you do

Skills & Qualifications:
